News Update on Developments

CHAS is pleased to announce that we have been approved by the Housing Finance Agency as approved Certified Borrowers. This will allow us to address the homelessness crisis, in our areas of operation, with government and local authority support. We have two projects in train at present and others in the pipeline. Mc Sweeney House on Berkley Road is to be demolished and 21 homes will be replaced with new state of the art facilities including communal areas alongside 35 new one bed apartments. We also have planning permission for an extension of St Anne's Court in Balinteer, where we will extend our site by 6 new one bed homes from 41 units to 47.

The Board is pleased to make this announcement and keen to see new build options coming forward. This will allow us to grow, provide more homes to our client group and help tackle homelessness in our city.
